Use Charity Donations to add a dedicated donation screen to your checkout flow. When enabled, attendees are invited to contribute to a cause of your choice while booking their tickets, giving your charity partner maximum visibility at the moment buyers are most engaged.
This is useful when your event supports a charity or social cause, when a sponsor or partner wants to tie donations to ticket sales, or when you simply want to offer attendees a way to give back as part of their purchase.
How It Works
Charity donations are configured per sales channel through the widget flow settings. Once enabled, a Charity Donation step appears in the checkout between ticket selection and payment. Attendees see the charity name, description, and logo (if configured), and can choose to add a donation to their order. Donations are handled through a third-party provider and are entirely optional for the buyer.
Enabling Charity Donations
Open your event, go to Sales Channels, and select the channel you want to configure.
Add the step
At the bottom of the Configure your widget flow section, click + Manage Steps. In the modal that appears, click Allow donations.
Configure the donation
A panel opens on the right with two tabs: Configure and Import existing (to reuse a configuration from another channel). Under Configure, start by selecting a Provider from the dropdown (e.g. Common Cents), then choose a Charity from the list of available causes (e.g. France Sclérose en Plaques).
Once the charity is selected, a Display Settings section appears where you can customize what attendees see. The Title is pre-filled with the charity name but can be edited. You can add an optional Description (with rich text formatting) shown to buyers, an optional Charity URL so attendees can learn more, and an optional Charity logo (PNG, JPG, or GIF, 360×160 recommended, max 5 MB).
Under Donation Amounts, you can set an optional minimum and maximum amount to frame the contribution range (defaults: €1.00 min, €100.00 max).
Click Save to apply. The step now appears in your widget flow as Charity Donation — Support a cause.
Removing the donation step
Click the Charity Donation step in your widget flow, then remove it from the panel — or click the X icon next to the step name directly in the flow.
Per-Channel Configuration
Like other widget flow steps, charity donations are configured independently on each sales channel. You can support different causes on different channels, or enable donations on some channels and not others.
